There were rumours for so long that Apple Intelligence AI Features might be paid! Well, that was very important to figure out if it was true or not. Well, here is the update!
Mark Gurman from Bloomberg told sources some information about when this might happen. Apple wants to add AI features to iPhones with a new update called iOS 18, which will work on the iPhone 15 Pro and the fancier models.
These models might come out in October with iOS 18.1. At first, these AI features will be totally free.
However, there are rumors that Apple might charge for these AI features later on. They might call it “Apple Intelligence.” Analysts think the monthly fee for these features could be pretty high, around $20. Today, Mark Gurman, who’s known for accurate Apple news, talked about this.
Paid Apple Intelligence Won’t Happen for At Least 3 Years!
In his Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman shared his thoughts on when Apple might start charging for Apple Intelligence. According to him, Apple doesn’t plan to charge for AI features for at least 3 years. So, we should be able to use them for free until at least 2027.
It’s also important to note that Apple might not make all AI features paid. They’ll probably only charge for some advanced AI functions, while the basic stuff will stay free. But these are just predictions for now.
