Gemini AI in Android Auto is set to revolutionize driving by introducing a powerful AI Assistant in your car. Google, known for focusing on artificial intelligence, has already started using Gemini in many of its services. Now, there’s a possibility that this AI model could soon be available in cars.
According to Android Authority, Gemini might be integrated into Android Auto, allowing drivers to use the AI assistant while driving. Recent hints found in the latest version of Android Auto suggest that Gemini support might be added soon. Normally, Android Auto lets you connect your phone to your car’s multimedia screen, where you can access your apps and use Google Assistant. But now, Google seems to be replacing Google Assistant with Gemini, its more advanced AI model.
Having Gemini on Android Auto could make the driving experience better by answering questions in real time and helping drivers with various tasks. However, there’s no confirmed date for when this support will arrive, and it’s not guaranteed to happen. The leak suggests that “Gemini Live” might be added, but it’s currently available only to paid Gemini Advanced subscribers. So, if Gemini comes to Android Auto, it might be a feature for paid users only.
