Fortnite for Apple is finally available again in Europe after a long wait. Fortnite and Epic Games are coming back to iPhones in Europe after 4 years.
In 2020. Epic didn’t want to pay Apple’s money. as they had some issues between them. So, Apple took Epic Games and Fortnite away from the App Store. Since then, iPhone and iPad users couldn’t play Fortnite.
But now, thanks to the European Union’s Digital Markets Act (DMA), things are changing. The DMA forces Apple to allow other app stores on its devices.
Last Friday, iPhone users in Europe could download the Epic Games Store.
Download the Epic Games Store app and you can play Fortnite and Fall Guys. There aren’t many games, but these games are popular and will bring in many players. However, this is only for users in the European Union who have updated their devices to iOS 17.6.
While Fortnite has been playable on Android devices this whole time, iPhone users in Europe now have the chance to access the game again through the Epic Games Store or another app store called AltStore Pal. There’s also a possibility that similar changes might come to other countries like the US, the UK, and Australia.
