New Windows 11 feature makes checking your PC’s hardware specs quicker and easier than ever before!
The update Microsoft is rolling out for Windows 11 is super cool, I just came across it, and it’s kinda awesome. If you’re also as like me and just can’t find a way to check your PC’s specs, then this new feature will totally make life easier. Rather than digging through all those drab system menus to shunt off to the Task Manager to see what hardware you have, here was a way to see your hardware info right from the settings.
What’s the Deal with New Windows 11 Feature?
Microsoft is testing this feature in the Insider beta (fancy word for people who get to try stuff early). It’s basically a card-like thing added to the “About” section in the System settings. This card shows you all the basic stuff about your computer, like your storage, graphics card, RAM, processor, and even its max speed!
Before, you’d have to search through tons of stuff like System Information or use Task Manager to find these details. But now, it’s all neatly displayed in one place. It’s like, finally, Microsoft gets that we don’t want to waste time hunting for basic info.
Why This Is Cool
For someone like me who isn’t super techy but did want to know what my computer could do, this is, as they say, the game-changer. So for example if you’re upgrading your PC at one point or want to see if a game can run on your PC then you can just pop into settings and see everything’s right there. There is no need for any of the techy headache!
Honestly, this feels like one of those features that should’ve been there forever, but hey, better late than never, right? Can’t wait to see it on my PC soon!
New Windows 11 feature is set to simplify your PC experience, making hardware details just a click away! Do let me know that what do you think about this update!
