Who Is Yahya Sinwar?
Yahya Sinwar has been part of Hamas for a really long time. He started a group called Majd a long time ago to catch people who were working with Israel. He’s been to jail a few times and was even supposed to be in jail forever! But, he got out of jail a few years ago when some prisoners were traded.

The decision to make Sinwar the leader happened in Doha after two days of long meetings. There were a lot of talks, but in the end, it came down to Sinwar and another guy, Mohammed Hassan Darwish.
