Meta Wants to Use Celebrity Voices in Voice Assistants: Meta AI Voice Assistants

Meta wants to use the voices of famous people in their Meta AI Voice Assistants. They’re offering celebrities a lot of money to agree to this.

Meta is aiming to get big Hollywood stars involved in their AI projects. They’ve made offers to many famous people, giving them millions of dollars to participate.

According to Bloomberg, Meta plans to develop some tools using these celebrity voices. These tools will be shown next month at Meta Connect. The idea is to make something like Google Assistant or Siri but with celebrity voices.

Some of the celebrities Meta has approached include Awkwafina, Judi Dench, and Keegan-Michael Key. Their voices would be used in a voice assistant system similar to Google Assistant or Siri.Meta Voice Assistants

However, making these deals isn’t easy. Meta wants the right to use the voices for a certain time in one project, and celebrity reps are asking for stricter terms.

It’s kind of surprising that Meta is trying to get celebs’ voices for assistants, especially since they recently stopped using chatbots inspired by celebrities. Using celebrity voices for AI has been a hot topic and has caused arguments in the SAG-AFTRA talks.
