US Urges Citizens to Leave Lebanon ASAP amid Wars in Lebanon

The US is telling its citizens to to Leave Lebanon ASAP amid Wars in Lebanon because they think a war in the Middle East might spread. Other countries like the UK, Sweden, France, Canada, and Jordan are saying the same thing.

Iran is very angry at Israel for killing Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran on Wednesday. Before that, Israel also killed a Hezbollah commander named Fuad Shukr in Beirut.

People are concerned that if Hezbollah, which is backed by Iran, retaliates, the matter could develop into a full-scale war with Israel. On Sunday, Hezbollah fired a volley of rockets at a town in northern Israel; they were stopped however by Israel’s defense system. It was fortunate that no damage was done.Wars in Lebanon

The US embassy in Lebanon said on Saturday that people who stay should have backup plans and be ready to stay inside for a long time. Some flights are canceled, and many are sold out, but there are still some ways to leave Lebanon.

The US is sending more warships and fighter jets to help protect Israel. The UK is also sending more military people and other staff to help with any evacuations. They are telling their citizens to leave Lebanon while flights are still available.

In Gaza, at least 17 people were killed in a school by an Israeli strike. Israel says the school was being used by militants, but Hamas denies this.

Israeli leaders are getting ready for possible attacks and have been given satellite phones in case their communication systems go down.

Iran might retaliate with a big attack like they did in April, using drones and missiles. Iran’s Acting Foreign Minister said they will punish Israel.

The situation started getting worse after 12 kids were killed in a strike on the Golan Heights. Israel blamed Hezbollah, who denied involvement. After that, a Hezbollah commander was killed by Israel, and then Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh was killed in Iran.

Iran’s leader said Israel will get a harsh punishment for this. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Israelis to be ready for tough times ahead and said they are prepared for anything.
